Re: Materials
Thu, February 21, 2008 - 8:29 PMIt's a heat curing (275 degrees) polymer clay suitable for dolls or or small craft figures. It can be modeled when soft and filed or sanded when cured. It can also be painted with acrylic paints. -

Fri, February 22, 2008 - 9:39 PMHa, tell me about it !!!
I use a stuff called Efa plast by Eberhard Faber from K-mart, its pretty cheap and air dries. Superior to clay in many regards but its not as nice to work with and is a little more squishy so you have to build it up in layers.

Re: Materials
Tue, March 18, 2008 - 7:51 PMHey Gary, or anyone, can you tell me a good place to order sculpey from? I found this one:
www.misterart.com/brands/Sculpey/
The price they're asking at the art shop is BS.
Also, for maquetts do you recomend a particular line, like ultralight, super sculpey etc.
Thanks. -

Re: Materials
Fri, March 21, 2008 - 8:51 PMThe Complete Sculptor has a lot more professional grade materials than Mister Art but Mister Art has cheaper prices. I've used both and had good experiences so it's your choice.
